The Governor's Office encourages Arizonans to "improve social connections by:

When the order came into effect, Governor Ducey made clear the list of the most essential businesses and services allowed to keep operating under his executive order. Participating in outdoor activities, such as running, walking, hiking biking or golfing but only if the appropriate physical distancing techniques are employed.

Conducting essential services or going to work, including transporting children to child-care services so that they can work in a vital service.

Engaging in constitutionally protected activities such as religion or speech and the democratic process that could include voting or any legal or court procedure insofar as it is conducted in a way that allows adequate physical distancing as far as is possible."
